Ariccia, April 20, 2008 Dear Sisters, We have arrived at the conclusion of the Second Session of the 7th General Chapter. We experienced the Lord’s blessings throughout these days. In a very special way, we were enlightened and sustained by his love, which renewed our energy and perseverance, particularly during these final days. On April 15, 16 and 17 we focused on the Directory with the same methodology used for the Rule of Life: study groups, general assemblies with the possibility for interventions and debates, and informal voting on each article.
Friday, April 18, following specifications and clarifications by the President and the Coordinator, we held the formal voting of the articles of the Directory. The assembly faced this challenge with responsibility and maturity. By 6:10 PM the text was approved and welcomed with warm applause, enriched with the various expressions of joy used in the various cultures. READ MORE...
